Message from World Armwrestling League (WAL), President, Steve Kaplan:

"WAL Nation:

WAL 401 Chicago was a huge hit. Great matches, big wins, an electric crowd and more.  We amassed amazing viewership metrics on B/R Live and are looking to build on that even more in 402 Baltimore.

Since WAL 401 Chicago, we have continued to drive awareness on an impressive level with exposure through TNT's INSIDE THE NBA (millions of viewers), a feature article in Men's Health & Fitness magazine (1,816,878 monthly viewers), and WAL athletes participated in John Cena's Armwrestling Challenge for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. You will be seeing this in the near future.

Thank you for the support and effort you have shown as we continue to bring our sport, our athletes and WAL to the world.

We have made many exciting upgrades to the WAL broadcast for 402 and while we are exceeding expectations, we all need to continue work together to push the sport and present it to as many new fans as possible.  Here's how you can help:

  • Copy and paste the paste the link below and encourage everyone in your network to download the B/R Live app.  The app is free and WAL events are currently free to watch. There is no better way to introduce the sport than to watch it.
  • Make sure your network knows that the event starts on Thursday, May 17 at 8pm EST.
  • Watch the entire event - great matches from top to bottom and length of time watched is a critical success measurement.

Lastly, if all of us work together to drive the sport we can build it into a huge success for competitors, directors, amateurs, and pros alike by adding many more events, with larger prize payouts.

Thanks again and much much more to come!

Steve
WAL President"
